COOL VIDEO SHOWS THE AWESOME F-15 EAGLE IN ALL ITS GLORY

The F-15 Eagle is able to enhance the already incredible capabilities of the F-22 Raptor

The gorgeous video in this post is dedicated to the awesome F-15 Eagle.

Built to permit the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to gain and maintain air supremacy over the battlefield, the F-15A/B/C/D is an all-weather, extremely maneuverable, tactical fighter. The F-15E instead is a two-seat, dual-role, totally integrated fighter for all-weather, air-to-air and deep interdiction missions.

F-15C, D and E models were deployed to the Persian Gulf in 1991 in support of Operation Desert Storm where they proved their superior combat capability. F-15C fighters accounted for 34 of the 37 Air Force air-to-air victories. F-15E’s were operated mainly at night, hunting SCUD missile launchers and artillery sites using the LANTIRN system.

Noteworthy as we have recently reported the U.S. Air National Guard (ANG), which currently is the main U.S. operator of the F-15C/D fighters, could soon replace its 246 Eagles with upgraded F-16s to save money.

But as we have explained this could not be a wise decision. In fact the F-15 not only has an incredible air-to-air kill ratio of 104 to 0, but also enhances the already incredible capabilities of the F-22 Raptor.

A claim confirmed by the fact that during Weapons Systems Evaluation Program (WSEP), held at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB) earlier this month, 4 F-15s and 4 F-22s teamed up achieved an incredible 41-1 kill ration in mock air combats against “red air” fighters.
