Paramount Pictures announced on Mar. 2, 2020 that Top Gun: Maverick will take off on Jun. 24, 2020 instead of Jun. 26, 2020, two days earlier than originally planned.
That’s standard for Paramount to take a big summer event out on a Wednesday. That means we should expect “preview screenings” on the evening of Tuesday, Jun. 23.

The internet was set ablaze on Dec. 16, 2019 when the new trailer of Top Gun: Maverick debuted (the first one was released on Jul. 18).
The two-minute trailer boasts blockbuster scenes with Maverick taking to the skies in F/A-18 Super Hornet, F-14 Tomcat fighter aircraft and an ‘Area 51’-type jet.

Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.
