The declassified satellite imagery in this post shows the aftermath of the air attack on the Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to T-Intelligence Facebook Page, “preliminary geospatial intelligence analysis suggests that the air attack was NOT an amateur “job” carried out by Houthi rebels. Ordnance was launched from multiple positions and at various angles, causing significant damage on precise targets.
“US and Saudi intelligence continue to investigate Iraq or even Iran as the actual origin of the attack.
“Kuwait has placed its armed forces on high alert following Saturday’s airspace violation by a foreign drone.”
According to The Aviation Geek Club contributor and world famous modern military aviation author Tom Cooper, “even more precise info is coming in in regards of this weekend’s attack on one of a handful of the major petrochemical installations in Saudi Arabia.
“The T- Intelligence’s report is showing sat photos of damaged installations: these in turn are making it obvious that this was a major, big air strike, involving a number of cruise missiles and/or UAVs – indeed, perhaps more of these than the originally reported ’10’ (Update: a total of 19 points hit by this strike are visible!).
“Now, the T-Intelligence’s report is trying to explain the strike was NOT run by the ‘Houthis’ in Yemen. I disagree even with such ‘reservations’: to me, the culprit is crystal clear: the IRGC [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps].
“Reason? Back in August, the IRGC issued a clear threat to the ‘critical infrastructure’ in Saudi Arabia (for example, see here). Motive is obvious, too: since Iran is suffering from losing income from oil-exports due to the US pressure, now Saudi Arabia is to suffer for similar reason.
“Notably, precisely the four tanks shown on one of the IRGC’s photos in Abqaiq were now actually hit.
“Moreover – and a reason to really worry – is the fact that there are even more reports about this strike being launched out of Iraq. For example, here a video supposedly taken during the night and (supposedly) showing the UAVs passing overhead:
“Should this turn out to be truth… It would be the same like if Tehran publicly declared a war on Riyadh.”
